Z kolei ja projektem interesowałem się aż od przerwania prac nad dubbingiem Jedi Academy. Zamierzam skończyć ten projekt, niezależnie od tego, jak długo to potrwa. Zdaję sobie sprawę z ilości linijek i postaci w tej grze. Dlatego zastosuję odrobinę inny plan, niż zazwyczaj. Mianowicie, do poszczególnych ról, jeśli ktokolwiek ma chęć uczestnictwa, będę rekrutował POJEDYNCZO. KOTOR ma tak śmiesznie ułożone pliki, że jedna postać ma porozrzucane kwestie po wielu folderach (które symbolizują miejsca/planety, gdzie mają swój tekst), jest to więc naprawdę żmudna praca. W związku z tym, będę ogłaszał casting do konkretnej postaci, kiedy już gotowa będzie poprzednia, inaczej nie miałoby to sensu - zbyt dużo pracy naraz spowodowałoby poddanie się. Zatem jeśli chcesz użyczyć głosu postaci w jednym z najlepszych gier RPG, potrzebujesz: - DOBREGO mikrofonu. Chcemy zachować, mniej więcej, równą jakość u każdej z postaci, by nie raziło to gracza. Proszę obejrzeć filmik, który podam niżej, by zapoznać się z jakością nagrania postaci Calo Norda. Niestety mikrofon za 20-30 zł, lub taki w słuchawkach, raczej nie zda egzaminu. - Przyzwoitej gry aktorskiej. W takim rodzaju lokalizacji nie jest ważne samo usłyszenie polskich głosów, ale to, by zachować klimat oryginalnej wersji i sprawić, że postacie będą żywe. - Ukończone minimum 18 lat. Niestety, poza nielicznymi wyjątkami, w grze postacie są generalnie dorosłymi ludźmi, więc nie zastąpimy ich głosów dziecinnymi (może złe określenie, ale wiadomo o co chodzi ;)). Fabuła osadzona została ok 3-4 tysiące lat przed wydarzeniami z 6 pierwszych, pod względem daty premiery, filmów. Aktualnie nastała chwila rozejmu między walczącymi ze sobą frakcjami: Imperium Sithów i Republiką. Jednak walki cały czas trwają i groźba otwartego konfliktu nieprzerwanie wisi w powietrzu. Naszym zdaniem jest wesprzeć jedną ze stron. Na początku zabawy będziemy musieli stworzyć własną postać. Edytor nie daje nam zbyt dużych możliwości zmiany wyglądu naszego bohatera, ale nie ma to znaczenia, bo i tak większość czasu będziemy chodzić schowani pod zbroją. Do wyboru mamy w sumie 8 klas (po 4 dla każdej ze stron). W dużym uproszeniu można powiedzieć, że klasy jednej frakcji są lustrzanym odbiciem swoich przeciwników, bo różnice między nimi są tylko kosmetyczne. Każda ze specjalizacji posiada 3 drzewka umiejętności, do których dostęp dostajemy dopiero na 10 poziomie. Będziemy już wtedy znać mechaniki rozgrywki, więc inwestycje zdobytych punktów będą bardziej przemyślane. Możemy w ten sposób wcielić się np. w rolę medyka, który leczy swoich kompanów czy snajpera zadającego obrażenia z dużej odległości. Wybór ten nie jest permanentny, więc w każdej chwili będziemy mogli edytować drzewko umiejętności i zmienić swój styl gry. Jak w porządny MMO system rozgrywki jest bardzo rozbudowany.
